The WSDA is set to begin inspecting the largest farms in Washington this growing season for compliance with the Produce Safety Rule. Last week the FDA began to release information related to on-farm inspection rollout, including the inspection form which will be used during on-farm inspections.
FDA Produce Safety Inspections Webpage– this site is the aggregation point where the FDA has put pertinent document, including the inspection form (form 4056)- Produce Farm Inspection Observation Form (form 4056)- if this form doesn’t open in your web browser, open it in Adobe. This will be very similar to the form used by the WSDA when conducting on-farm inspections.
