Special Precautions for High-Risk Groups: Persons Living with Organ Transplants or Cancer


Chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and drug therapy to prevent rejection of transplanted organs - all cause a decrease in the body's ability to fight infection. Thus, it is very important during this time to be very careful about choice and preparation of foods. Follow the guidelines given to you by your health care providers.
